Paver Driveway and Walkway Installation in Waukesha County

A driveway carries weight, so it gets a deeper base than a patio. A front walk carries first impressions, so it gets cut borders and steps that land evenly. We build both, and we set the grade so meltwater runs to the street instead of the garage.

Driveways and aprons

Vehicle loads and plow blades are hard on a surface. Depth of base and a locked edge are what keep the field from spreading.

  • Base depth sized for vehicle weight, not foot traffic
  • Locked edge restraint so the outer courses stay put
  • Grade pitched to the street and away from the garage slab

Walkways and steps

Most builder walks are a narrow concrete strip. A wider paver walk with a proper landing changes how the front of the house reads.

  • Walk widened so two people fit side by side
  • Even riser heights on every step
  • Borders cut to the curve instead of chipped to fit

Booking driveways

Check the grade

We look at how water moves across the drive today and where it needs to go instead.

Pick the stone

Paver style, border and pattern get chosen before the estimate is finished.

Dig, base, set

Excavate, build the base in lifts, set and cut the field, sand and compact.

Why people book Elevated Landscape Services

The base is where the money goes

Anyone can set stone on top. Nineteen years on heavy equipment is what makes the excavation, compaction and drainage right underneath it.

One crew, start to finish

One in-house crew means the person who saw your yard on day one is still on it at the end.

Dirt and stone from one contractor

Grading, site prep and hardscaping under one number, so nobody is pointing at somebody else when the water sits in the wrong place.

Waukesha County only

We stay inside the county we are based in. Short drives mean we get to the job and back to it.

Driveways questions

Will a paver driveway hold up to plowing?

Yes, when the base is right and the edges are restrained. Plowing a paver drive is routine here as long as the blade has a shoe or a poly edge.

Can you replace just the apron or the walk?

Yes. We regularly rebuild an apron or a front walk and leave the rest of the drive alone.
